David Perry is a veteran CEO, entrepreneur, and technologist with over 40 years in gaming, entertainment, and AI.

He was the Co-founder and CEO of Carro, the commerce partnership platform that raised over $50 million from investors including Alpha Edison, PayPal Ventures, and Corazon Capital.
Before Carro, he founded Gaikai, one of the first cloud gaming companies, backed by Benchmark, NEA, Intel Capital, and Qualcomm. Sony PlayStation acquired Gaikai for $380 million, where Perry helped shape PlayStation’s streaming strategy.

Earlier in his career, he founded Shiny Entertainment, the studio behind Earthworm Jim, MDK, and Sacrifice, and produced licensed hits including Aladdin, The Matrix, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this company was acquired by Atari.
Perry is an active investor and advisor with stakes in Bonfire Studios, Sesame Glasses, Househack, Obi, Groq, Anduril, Packsmith, ZeroTier, Territory Foods, and Arduboy. He also serves on the board of OC testing company Centercode.
An author and keynote speaker, Perry has been honored with the Development Legend Award, an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, and has spoken at TED, E3, and GDC.
